Does Circle K Sell Benadryl?

Allergies can ruin your day, especially when you’ve run out of your usual antihistamine. For many, Benadryl is the brand they choose when they need an antihistamine. But when you run out, and the only store open is a Circle K, you’ll wonder:

Does Circle K sell Benadryl or something similar?

Circle K may not have the brand name Benadryl, but you will find Circle K’s own-brand antihistamine in most of their stores. Circle K’s antihistamine includes the same active ingredient Diphenhydramine HCl 25 as Benadryl.

To find out more, keep reading this article in which I will explain what Circle K’s antihistamine is and whether it is as good as Benadryl.

Where Do I Find Allergy Antihistamine In Circle K Stores?

Circle K stores have a small but dedicated section for first aid and health care products. In that section, you will find Circle K’s Allergy Antihistamine if any is left in stock. This section can possibly be behind the cash, so you may need to ask for the employee’s assistance.

Depending on your location, it is possible to find brand-name products such as Benadryl in Circle K stores, but it is very unlikely because they have their own product. If you have issues finding what you need, ask a staff member.

Circle K’s Allergy Antihistamine is in a magenta-colored box and lists “Allergy” as the largest word on the box, just to help you know what you are looking for.

Which Types of Antihistamines Does Circle K Sell?

Circle K stores do not always sell Benadryl, it is rare actually, but they sell Circle K’s own Allergy Antihistamine. Circle K’s option has the same active ingredient as Benadryl: Diphenhydramine HCl 25 mg.

This product is just as effective as Benadryl, so if you only have that option in your local Circle K store, you will get the same results: temporary relief from runny or stuffy noses and other symptoms connected to allergies like hay fever.

Here are the quantity size options of Circle K’s Allergy medication:

  • 4 Caplets
  • 6 Tablets
  • 24 Tablets
  • 36 Tablets

Is Circle K “Benadryl” Safe To Use?

Circle K’s health care and first aid products are as safe as the ones you can buy in pharmacies.

Of course, you must keep the usual precautions and warnings in mind. Antihistamines can cause drowsiness and might cause issues if you already take some other type of tranquilizing medication.

If in doubt, always consult a professional before you take any additional medications – even if it’s something that seems as harmless as an antihistamine.

Keep in mind the ingredients in Benadryl and Circle K Allergy are not the exact same. The active ingredients are (the meds) but the inactive ingredients differ, let me show you in a side by side chart.

When Do I Use Benadryl and Circle K Allergy?

There is no set time when to take Benadryl or other antihistamines. Generally, you take one dose every 4-6 hours, but this can differ depending on the form you use (pill, liquid, gel capsule, etc.)

In the case of Circle K’s Allergy Antihistamine, it is recommended to take it every 4-6 hours, but no more than 6 doses per 24 hours.

Is Circle K A Good Place To Buy Allergy Pills?

Circle K is neither better nor worse than other places. Antihistamines from Circle K are the same as antihistamines from other stores. The only problem is that not all Circle K stores sell actual Benadryl, so just take a look at the product you are buying and make sure the ingredients are the same as what you are looking for.Benadryl Ultratabs Antihistamine Allergy Relief Medicine, Diphenhydramine HCl Tablets for Relief of Cold & Allergy Symptoms Such as Sneezing, Runny Nose, & Itchy Eyes & Throat, 100 ct

Suppose you aren’t in a rush and regularly use brand name Benadryl. In that case, I recommend buying a bulk pack of Benadryl online; this pack of Benadryl Ultratabs Antihistamine Allergy Relief Medicine includes 100 small tablets.

Final Thoughts

Your local Circle K store may not have the brand name antihistamines, but the Circle K branded Allergy Antihistamine contains the same active ingredient and will do the job just as well.

If you have no other option, Circle K’s antihistamine is great. You can always buy some more Benadryl in a different store later if you prefer it, or buy packs online and take them with you.
