How Many Flavors of Hot Pockets Are There? (Full List)

Hot Pockets are a convenient meal. You can quickly pop them in the oven or microwave and get a tasty meal within a few minutes. There’s no food prep and no washing up required.

Hot Pockets have been around for a while now, and what they offer has changed repeatedly over the years.

So, do you wonder how many flavors of hot pockets there are?

There are 37 different Hot Pocket flavors (or rather varieties), some are no longer available for purchase. These are divided into four categories: the classic Hot Pockets, Breakfast, Big&Bold, and Deliwich.

If you want to learn more about these flavors and where to buy them, keep reading.

Full List Of Hot Pocket Flavors And Where To Buy Them

There are a lot of flavors. You can find a store that stocks Hot Pockets on the official Hot Pockets Website, or you can use Amazon’s Fresh service to get them delivered straight to your home.

Each flavor generally comes in more than one crust variety: crispy crusts, croissant crusts, seasoned crusts, and buttery garlic crusts.

While there are only 15 flavor variations, adding the different crust flavors adds up to 37 options! In this article, I am introducing the 15 main flavors:

  1. Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza is one of the most popular flavors and is made with pork, chicken, beef, and mozzarella cheese.
  2. Hot Pockets Four Cheese Pizza is one of the meatless options (but not vegetarian!) and is a paradise meal for cheese lovers. It is made with parmesan, cheddar, reduced fat mozzarella cheese, and reduced fat provolone cheese.
  3. Hot Pockets Hickory Ham and Cheddar is a classic combination. If you choose the croissant crust, you have an excellent breakfast option.
  4. Hot Pockets Four Meats and Four Cheeses is a flavor overload and heaven for people who can’t get enough meat and cheese. This Hot Pocket combines four melty kinds of cheese with Pepperoni, sausage, Canadian-style bacon, and hamburger.
  5. Italian Style Meatballs and Mozzarella Hot Pockets are an excellent choice if you feel like a pasta meal but can’t be bothered to make pasta. With these Hot Pockets, you’ll still get the flavors!
  6. Hot Pockets Philly Steak and Cheese is your option if you like to have some chunks of meat inside your Hot Pockets. There are also onions and some peppers in this one.
  7. Hot Pockets Steak and Cheddar is another nice option for meat lovers. The steak bits are sliced thinly and have a nice and tender texture.
  8. The breakfast menu item is the Applewood Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Hot Pockets. The ingredients are mixed with a tasty sauce and enveloped by a croissant crust – as you’d expect for a breakfast item!
  9. The Big and Bold line includes four flavors. The first is Buffalo Style Chicken with a spicy sauce and Cheddar cheese. These Hot Pockets are 50% bigger than regular Hot Pockets!
  10. The second flavor is Chicken Bacon Ranch. The bacon is Applewood smoked, mixed with chicken, and covered by reduced fat Mozzarella.
  11. The third flavor in the line of bigger Hot Pockets is Double Pepperoni Pizza. If you love the standard Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets but wish there was more Pepperoni in them, then these Big&Bold Hot Pockets make your dream come true!
  12. The last extra-large HotPocket flavor is Steak Nacho. In addition to meat and cheese, you also get some veggies in this one, i.e., tomatoes and jalapenos. This is a spicier option.
  13. The new Deliwich range has three flavors for now. The first is Cheddar and Ham. These Hot Pocket sandwiches are ideal for on-the-go and are soft rolls.
  14. The second flavor in this new range is Turkey & Colby. You can either thaw them to eat when you’re out and about or heat them in just a minute.
  15. The third flavor is a meatless but not vegetarian option: the Cheese Melt Deliwich.

Please be aware that there are many discontinued lines and flavors of Hot Pockets (which means they are no longer available).

These include Lean Pockets (12 varieties), Hot Pie Express, Hot Pocket Mini Pizzas, and Hot Pocket Breakfast Fruit Pastries. A variety of other lines were not included in this list.

Looking at this, the next question that pops in one’s head is:

Are Hot Pockets Healthy?

No, not particularly. Yes, they are convenient, and some flavors are satisfying – but there is little good nutrition in those tasty meals.

So, why are they not healthy?

They include a lot of sugar, saturated fats, and ingredients an average person never heard of and would never use for home cooking. There are also lots of artificial ingredients in a Hot Pocket. Even the cheese used in Hot Pockets isn’t proper cheese per definition.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy them now and then. Don’t turn them into a daily habit if you value your health.

To learn a bit more, let’s also have a look at the nutrition facts.

What Are Hot Pocket Nutrition Facts?

The following are the nutrition facts for Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets per serving (one hot pocket). The percentage in brackets shows how much of your daily recommended intake is in each serving.

Calories 320
Total Fat 15g  (19%)

Sodium 660mg (29%)
Total Carbs. 36g (13%)
Protein 11g (22%)
Calcium 210mg (15%)

Potassium 250mg (4%)

If you eat two hot pockets, you will already have consumed over half of your daily sodium – so you need to be careful how much you consume the rest of the day.

Are Hot Pockets Gluten-Free?

No, all Hot Pockets contain gluten and are unsuitable if you have a gluten intolerance. If you still want to enjoy Hot Pockets, try making your own. Check out this recipe if you want to bake some gluten-free Hot Pockets.

Are There Vegan And Vegetarian Hot Pockets?

It might come as a surprise, but just because there are meat-free Hot Pockets, it doesn’t mean that they are vegetarian (vegans are totally out of luck because of the cheese in all Hot Pockets).

The Four Cheese Pizza Hot Pocket with Crispy Crust and the Five Cheese Pizza Hot Pocket with Garlic Buttery Crust may sound like vegetarian products, but because they contain parmesan, which is made with rennet, they are unsuitable for vegetarians.

Final Thoughts About Different Hot Pocket Flavors

The choice of Hot Pocket flavors might initially look a little overwhelming, but you can easily find something you like.

If you like cheese a lot, go for one of the four cheese options and then choose the type of crust that sounds most appealing to you.

Hot Pockets are not that healthy, but when you are hungry and have no time or energy to cook something, they are better than nothing – and they’re also a nice little treat!
