Stamps used to be a common necessity to communicate with loved ones. With today’s texting, calling, and video chatting public, however, stamps are a rarely used product. You can purchase stamps at the register at most Publix locations. In very large locations they may sell them at the customer service desk instead. Simply ask the cashier at checkout, and they will either add a book of stamps to your order or redirect you.

The standard book size is 20 stamps. Some larger designs only have 16 or 18 stamps per book.

For instance, if you have a standard stamp worth 40 cents, but the postage is raised to 60 cents, you will need to use two stamps. This does not apply to forever stamps, which hold their value.
